In BRIGHT-CS, girls will…
- Fun! It’s not just another class. Girls explore their own interests through hands-on activities, problem solving, and making things. Girls also learn leadership skills like setting and achieving their own goals.
- Fresh! It’s a yearlong program, not a one-day “hackathon” or coding camp. Girls meet together every week during the school year. They also gather for two weeks of free camp in the summer. Girls are also mentored by Black or Latina women computer scientists and leaders in their community.
- Free! Girls pay no cost to participate in the program.
